So I really want to know what is that one workout move you love to hate? Like why do I workout? Do I have to lift weights? Do I have to do cardio? Like ugh …..!
I can totally understand your frustration. Like why do we have too?!?!
First let us break it down:
Why do I have to do resistance or weight training? Well the honest answer is we are all losing muscle mass unless we use it. When we get into our 60-70-80s if we have not used our muscle we will begin to lose it. This is what can make our previously 150 lbs fit body look like a blob of a mess even if we still weigh 150 lbs! This is also why we can break a hip, fall, or be unable to lift things when we are older.
Me personally I love lifting because it keeps me tone and even if I weigh more I look like I weigh less! LIKE WHO DOES NOT WANT THAT????
Why do I have to do cardio training? Honestly … do you care about your heart. Do you care about your blood pressure? Do you want a heart attack? Do you want to lean out our body? Well then there is your cardio. Cardio is how you take care of your heart! It is the workout for the heart! You want to keep a strong heart, it is time for you to do your cardio.
How much do I have to do? Best answer be active 30 minutes a day. Try to get moderate to high intensity cardio 3-4 times a week and do weight training 2-3 times per week.
If you don’t want to do burpees you do not have too …. All you have to do is take care of the parts of your body you want to keep around J
